Intech Science Centre

A great place to take the kids for a day out and let them explore the wonderful world of science. Under cover and available even on rainy days your children can discover for them selves how things work. Prepare yourself for many questions while leaning something new about our planet and the world we dwell in.

There are over one hundred activities to explore and something for all ages too. You and the kids can investigate, experiment, create, learn, build, discover and play at intech. Just some of the things to discover are: - how light can be bent, electricity is made, and how a vortex is formed.

INTECH also has a wider role in the community presenting a range of fascinating lectures and science shows. The Space Lectures give visitors the chance to hear internationally renowned experts talk about their field of interest in an engaging way followed by a tour of the night sky using the planetarium. The Science Lectures are designed to be family-friendly and cover a range of topics ranging from Cloud-spotting to ‘Maggots and Murders’ – the role of insect evidence in forensics.

The Hampshire Technology Centre Trust Ltd which runs INTECH is an independent educational charity. Registered Charity number: 294582. Intech Science Centre is available for birthday parties, corporate hire, holiday activities, science shows and school programmes.
