Fleming Park Judo Club

Fleming Park Judo Club has been running for many years at Fleming Park Leisure Centre in Eastleigh but now, thanks to a grant from Sport England, they also run a satellite club at The Hilt, Chandlers Ford. They are currently seeking new players of all ages and abilities to join them.

Judo is martial art and Olympic sport developed in 1882 in Japan by Jigoro Kano taking elements from Ju-Jitsu. Judo is a fantastic way to improve your fitness and build your confidence. Inherently the skills learnt can also be used as an effective form of self-defence.

Fleming Park Judo Club is an extremely enthusiastic and friendly club with a strong social side to complement the sport. They have been involved in an annual French Exchange for over 30 years and they regularly have parties and club outings. For players who wish to compete they will train and support them to do so.

They train at The Hilt on Thursday evenings with junior players ( 5 -16yrs ) training from 7:30pm until 8:30pm and seniors ( 16+ yrs) from 8:30pm until 9:30pm. They also train at Fleming Park on Saturday mornings, holding 4 classes from 8:30am until 12:30pm.

If you are interested in trying out Judo please see their website at http://flemingparkjudoclub.110mb.com/ or you can contact them by e-mail at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
