Old Sarum Airfield - located nearby to the lovely city of Salisbury in Wiltshire and is the 2nd oldest active airfield in the United Kingdom dating back to 1917. Today, it is a firm favourite with the GA community with many related aviation businesses based at the airfield.
Popham Airfield can be found in the county of Hampshire and has a thriving GA community, always very popular with visitors. It is a microlight-friendly base as well as home to many other GA aircraft. One of the attractions in the year is the microlight fair, being almost a mini-LAA rally, with a gathering of many microlights from across the UK and elsewhere.
Shoreham Airport is a popular general aviation location in the UK, and is a major base for flying activities on the South Coast of England. Brighton & Hove and the town of Worthing are both within easy travelling distance from the Airport and the railway station at Shoreham by Sea provides a means to get you to Gatwick, London and elsewhere.
