Party Games - Pass The Parcel

Get everyone laughing in Chandlers Ford with party games - Pass The Parcel.

Wrap a gift in several layers of newspaper or wrapping paper.

Use the radio or a music player or play live music.

Sit everyone in a circle and get them to pass the parcel from one person to another. Stop the music at random and the person holding the parcel unwraps one layer. Restart the music and carry on passing the parcel. Proceed as above until the last layer is unwrapped. The gift goes to the person who unwraps the last layer.

If doing this with children it is a nice idea to use a bar of chocolate and encourage the winner to share it with others.

Another variation is to enclose several small gifts or bars of chocolate in one parcel by putting them in different layers.

You could also include forfeits instead of gifts or use both to make it more fun.
