Walks Around Chandlers Ford, Hampshire

I have lived in Chandler's Ford for over five years but my parents came here over twenty years ago and I have gone for walks around the area ever since they arrived.

The four seasons each display a different scene of this Hampshire village, more like a small town now as there are about 20,000 living in the district with a focal point being the Hiltingbury Lakes.

Most of my walks have taken a route that includes Hiltingbury Lakes and I have discovered that these lakes and the woods surrounding them are a good place to unwind and relax or to do some thinking. A number of the articles on this website have been as a result of my walks through the lakes.

So this section of Chandlers Ford Community Website will be about the walks that I have trod both in the past and continue to do so now, at all times of the year and very often in all weathers, sun, rain, snow and whatever (No I am not just a fair weather walker!).

Hope you enjoy the articles as I unfold then over the next few weeks.

If you have a favourite walk do let us know about it.
